On-demand Scanning with No Long Term Commitment

As an on-demand service, the nCircle Certified PCI Scan Service frees customers from annual contracts. Merchants pay on a per use basis eliminating pre-paying for services. Additionally, nCircle understands that the merchant may have to scan their payment network more than once in order to ensure compliance. The nCircle Certified PCI Scan Service allows merchants to scan their payment network multiple times within 30 days to make the compliance process even simpler and more cost-effective.

Among the First to Be Certified Based on the New PCI Data Security Standard

PCI Security Standards Council The nCircle Certified PCI Scan Service is among the first to be certified as an approved scan service based on the updated, more rigorous version of the PCI Data Security Standard which went into effect at the beginning of 2007. This ensures merchants are protecting their networks by testing against the current standard and not using an outdated service.

The Approved Scan Vendor certification signifies that the nCircle Certified PCI Scan Service has been thoroughly tested by The PCI Security Standards Council to ensure that any credit card data transmitted or processed by or through the payment network is done in accordance with the PCI Data Security Standard version 1.2. Look for nCircle on the PCI Security Standards Council list of approved scanning vendors.

How it Works

scans for all PCI Data Security Standard-relevant conditions. Upon completion of the scan, merchants have access to an auto-generated PCI Security Standards Council certified report. The scan report clearly indicates whether the merchant's payment network is secure, in which case the merchant may download the report and submit it to the acquiring bank. In case the report identifies vulnerabilities that must be addressed before submission, the merchant is provided with information to remediate the vulnerabilities, rescan the payment network, and submit the report that shows compliance with the PCI Data Security Standard.
